I am based in the Kansas City, Missouri area.

I am a budding technical and creative writer with an interest in publishing, freelance, and authoring books. I also love to mentor others with a discussion-based atmosphere that fosters informally structured learning. I am currently a tutor with TRIO-SSS at the University of Central Missouri, tutoring primarily English, but also other subjects, to first-generation/low-income/disabled students. I love atmospheres that promote interpersonal relationships.  I prize outreach and making a positive difference. I love to learn about many things and meet new people. Throughout my life I have had experiences that have prompted me to pursue a career doing some form of writing. My interests lie in the realm of blogging, freelance, technical writing, and publishing. My goal is to be an author one day for youth literature.

 Some key experiences that showcase my abilities are:

• Having a byline in the University of Central Missouri’s online newspaper Digital burg for the play Raisin in the Sun.

• Creating projects in technical writing and in multimedia, such as a brochure and poster.

• Writing in my spare time. I have written several novels and poetry on my own and want to absorb that into my career. 

• Tutoring English and other subjects for a few years. I love helping others do what I love! 

• Coding in basic HTML and CSS.

• Volunteering with groups in my community.

• Being involved with groups that help me grow academically and emotionally.

• Using basic Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for projects.
